(Does not work anymore)[]

Skybases are large, floating structures that are situated high in the air, typically using a glitch, with cannons pointed downwards, that can be used for spamming, hiding, or countering annoying meta spammers. Although they sre typically frowned upon, and using them will generally earn you the title of "scourge of WFYB", they are RIDICULOUSLY easy and (can be) cheap to build.

Basics[]

Skybases usually work off of the same mechanic, abusing it in two main ways: the four corners, and the iron grid.

Four corners uses four squares, typically ice, spread far apart, to serve as floatation devices for the base. These supports must exist because of the fuzzy physics of WFYB, ill get into it later.

Iron Grids use large grids or frames of iron weights to pull the support for the skybase underwater. It's typically more expensive, but much more reliable.

Four corners pros and cons[]

+ Rises with the water

+ cheap

+ easy to manage

- players can hitchhike on your floats

- players can shoot out your floats

-adding more weight/room for enemies to fit requires more spacing between floats.

Iron Grid pros and cons[]

+ no need to worry about hitchhikers/float shooters

+ grid acts as an aimer

+ much more reliable

- does not rise with water

- tends to shake around while water rises

- not cheap

Tutorial[]

lets learn how to build it:

first, construct a support. either the grid or the corners.

second, go to the middle and spam crates upwards, climbing up as you go. (go up 40-50 for grid)

third, build a little platform out of any material, preferably armor, and place a small teleport spawn. delete the crates.

lastly, slap a lateral control seat on it, point a buncha cannons downwards, and start spamming!

now, lets learn how to build one:
